As a photographer I often receive many questions from brides-to-be about what they should wear in order to have unique, beautiful, & unforgettable wedding day photos. Therefore, I have decided to start posting some ideas! I also recieve questions about wedding details, dresses, shoes, even mens suits. Why wear a headpiece? Well, why not?! Your wedding is the one day where you can wear an extravagant headpiece or veil & guaranteed it will add that finishing touch to your bridal look! Headpieces are fantastic for a few reasons, firstly, it will add that little extra “something” to your hair (it may just be the one thing you’re missing to make your hair style go from “wow” to “WOW”). Secondly, a headpiece will most definitely add to your wedding day photos, making them considerably more interesting and can add a vintage or glamorous look.

These handmade headpieces are by Court & Plume. They are so detailed and delicate looking! All of them can be worn alone or even under a veil, which would be ideal if you are planning on taking off your veil after the ceremony. That way it will give you a totally new look for your reception!

These headpieces by Sara Gabriel are all inspired by The Royal Wedding! (except for the peacock one) She has created some very unique couture pieces that all stand out in their own way. I absolutely love how the blusher veil and the birdcage veils are embellished with Swarovski crystals! It adds a gorgeous sparkle!
